The Ministry of Defense creates a list of unfair foreign suppliers

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing a list of unfair foreign suppliers for defense procurement. This will increase transparency and accountability in the process of meeting the needs of the Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing a list of unscrupulous foreign suppliers of defense goods, works and services. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense explains that this way they want to increase transparency and responsibility in the procurement process for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Director of the Defense Ministry's Procurement Policy Department Hlib Kanevsky noted that the order on the relevant list was developed pursuant to the order of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
The new mechanism will allow to effectively monitor and analyze information on foreign contractors who have not fulfilled their contractual obligations to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to him, the List is an information database containing data on unfair foreign counterparties. This information will be available to international partners in whose territory these counterparties are registered and operate.
A foreign counterparty is recognized as unfair if there is a court or arbitration decision against it that has entered into force and has not been voluntarily executed. Exclusion from the List is possible if the counterparty complies with the court or arbitration award.
The Department of Procurement Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is responsible for maintaining the List and its use in the conclusion of state contracts
