The Foreign Ministry is negotiating with the Red Cross on programs for the return of Ukrainians from abroad

First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga met with the Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society to discuss the organization's activities, assistance provided, participation in recovery projects and the need for better coordination with the authorities and international organizations.
On Thursday, July 11, July 11, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga met with the Director General of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (RCSU) Maxim Dotsenko. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Details
During the meeting, the head of the URCS presented the main directions of the organization's current activities and informed about the amount of assistance provided by the Society.
Particular attention was paid to the involvement of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in the restoration of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" and the Children's Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The parties also discussed the preparation of special programs for the return of Ukrainians from abroad
Sibiga also pointed out the need to strengthen the URCS's coordination with central and local authorities of Ukraine, as well as with international humanitarian organizations, in order to avoid duplication of functions in providing humanitarian assistance to the affected communities.
