The Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław sent a request to the Polish police regarding the attack on Ukrainians. Minister Sybiha ordered measures to be taken in response to cases of violence.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław has appealed to Polish law enforcement with a call to promptly investigate information about an attack on Ukrainian citizens in Wrocław. Diplomats have already sent an official request to the National Police of Poland and are awaiting official information. This was reported by UNN citing a statement from the Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław.

The diplomatic mission noted that cases of violence against Ukrainian citizens have recently become more frequent in Poland.
"We are forced to note that cases of violence and aggression, whose victims are Ukrainian citizens, have recently become more frequent in Poland. Each such case requires a thorough investigation and proper legal assessment," the Consulate General emphasized.
They also reported that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, instructed diplomats to urgently take all necessary response measures.
If the information is confirmed, the Ukrainian side expects a comprehensive and objective investigation, the establishment of the motives for the attack, and the prosecution of those responsible in accordance with Polish legislation.
"Any manifestations of violence, xenophobia, or hatred are unacceptable and should not occur in a democratic society," the diplomats stressed.
The Consulate General also called on Ukrainian citizens who may have been affected by the incident or who have information about it to contact the diplomatic mission for consular assistance and interaction with Polish law enforcement agencies.

In Wrocław, a Ukrainian girl and boy were brutally beaten. According to information published on social media, the attackers may have been Poles, and the reason for the aggression was allegedly the Ukrainian accent. The victims sustained serious injuries, and a concussion is suspected.
