In the olutorsky region of kamchatka, the airport runways were flooded. During the heavy rain, a strong northeasterly a strong northeast wind began to blow. As a result, sea water came ashore, eroding the spit and flooding the coastal areas.

In the local settlements lost power for some time, roads froze, and the the airport, water covered the runways to a depth of about 20 cm. After water receded after a while, but the airport will be closed for at least two days. Locals who were stuck there were evacuated by helicopters.
