The accumulation of vehicles on the way out is recorded at the checkpoints of Lviv region: which ones are less busy

On the western border of Ukraine, outbound passenger traffic has increased by 15% compared to the usual level. Smilnytsia and Uhryniv checkpoints remain the least busy.
There is an increase in passenger traffic leaving Ukraine. Because of this, traffic is accumulating at some checkpoints in the Lviv region. UNN reports this with reference to the State Border Guard Service.
"Attention! Information for citizens crossing the border in the Lviv region. There is an increase in passenger traffic leaving Ukraine (up 15% from the usual flow). As a result, traffic is accumulating at some checkpoints," the statement said.
It is reported that as of 17:00, Smilnytsia and Uhryniv checkpoints are less busy.
The SBGS reminded that border crossing depends on the work of all representatives of the control services operating at the checkpoints and employees of the relevant services of the neighboring party.

The increase in passenger traffic has already begun ahead of the New Year and Christmas holidays. On Monday and Tuesday, passenger traffic reached 88 thousand people per day in both directions.
