According to the TV channel, the incident occurred three days ago at a military base in Senaki. The tank caught fire on the way to the maneuvers.
A Georgian serviceman, 47-year-old Zurab Pisenko, was burned. He was immediately sent to Turkey for treatment.
Local residents witnessed the tank catching fire. The Georgian Defense Ministry has not yet been informed of the incident. Journalists found out that the military police are now investigating the incident.
