She was born in the village of Pogreby, Brovary district, Kyiv region. In 1957, she graduated from the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary in the workshop of Ivan Chabanenko and Leonid Oliynyk.
The woman received a number of awards and starred in such cult films as "Maxim Perepelitsa", "Chasing Two Hares" and "Babylon-XX".
