Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha held a telephone conversation with the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Johann Wadephul. This is reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the Ukrainian foreign ministry.

It is noted that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Germany for its unwavering and comprehensive support of Ukraine, in particular for military, financial, humanitarian and political assistance, as well as for its leadership in strengthening European security.
The parties focused on the rapidly changing security situation in the Black Sea. Russia is deliberately attacking civilian vessels and port infrastructure, trying to undermine freedom of navigation and disrupt global food security
It is noted that the parties also coordinated efforts to restore freedom of navigation, strengthen maritime security, and "ensure a decisive international response." In addition, the diplomats discussed practical steps to enhance Ukraine's air defense, expand defense-industrial cooperation, and accelerate joint efforts that strengthen both Ukraine's resilience and Europe's security.
"We remain in close coordination regarding the next steps," Sybiha emphasized.
