Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha supported the initiative for an Easter truce. Ukraine is ready for reciprocal steps in response to a ceasefire from the Russian Federation.

The Easter truce proposal, put forward by the President of Ukraine, has a chance of being implemented. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, as reported by UNN.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that Ukrainians deserve a holiday without terror.
We will see when and where the silence begins to work, and we will respond in kind. A lasting ceasefire would pave the way for true diplomacy and an end to this war, which Russia will never win and must finally end.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed his conviction that "a ceasefire is the right strategy for advancing diplomatic efforts, both in the Middle East and in the case of Russian aggression against Ukraine."
Context
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced an Easter truce with Ukraine, which will last from April 11 until the end of April 12.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is ready for "mirror steps" and agrees to the Easter truce previously announced by Russia.
