According to Steve Witkoff, during his second visit to the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin ordered a portrait of President Trump from a leading Russian artist and "actually gave it" to Witkoff, asking him to hand it over to Trump.
He (Putin - ed.) told me a story, Tucker, about how, when the president (Trump - ed.) was shot, he went to his church, met with a priest and prayed for the president. Not because he was the President of the United States or could become one, but because he was his friend, he prayed for a friend
The US President's Special Envoy noted that he retold this story to Trump and handed over the painting. "And it was obvious that it touched him," he stressed.
I don't think Putin is a bad person. This is a complex situation, this war and all the components that led to it
We remind you that on March 13, Stephen Witkoff visited Moscow. In particular, he was expected to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine with the Russian leadership after talks between Ukraine and the United States in Jeddah.
