Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu has arrived in North Korea to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. This is reported by Russian media, writes UNN.
On Friday, March 21, Sergei Shoigu arrived in the capital of North Korea. According to propaganda media, he laid a wreath at a local monument dedicated to Soviet soldiers.
As UNN reported earlier, in the fall, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un emphasized his intention to expand cooperation and bilateral relations with Russia.
In February, North Korea intended to jointly start producing unmanned aerial vehicles with Russia. According to NHK sources, the two countries reached an agreement under which North Korea will receive technical assistance from Russia for the development of several types of drones for mass production. Last year, the parties concluded an agreement on a comprehensive strategic partnership.
According to sources, the drone development agreement was concluded in response to North Korea sending its military personnel to Russia, which continues its invasion of Ukraine.
