Schools in the Cherkasy region have been advised to switch to distance learning as 44 settlements are without power due to bad weather.
Due to the bad weather in Cherkasy region, 44 settlements are without electricity, schools are recommended to switch to distance learning, said the head of Cherkasy regional administration Igor Taburets, UNN reports.
The liquidation of the consequences of the bad weather in Cherkasy region continues. The operational headquarters is working around the clock. There are 202 stabilization points deployed in the region. More than 130 units of special equipment are engaged on the roads of state, territorial and local importance. First of all, they are clearing the roads where significant traffic jams have formed

In Cherkasy region, 44 settlements are without power, 16 of them partially. Emergency crews of Cherkasyoblenergo are involved.

Due to the expected severe weather conditions, on November 27, schools in Kyiv region switched to distance learning, but kindergartens remain open. Authorities are urging residents to stay home to prevent traffic jams and facilitate snow removal.
