The unblocked Yagodyn-Dorogusk checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border has seen heavy truck traffic in both directions since the end of the Polish farmers' protest.
As of the morning, the Yahodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint, blocked by Polish farmers, is experiencing heavy truck traffic in both directions. There are 250 trucks in the queue. Over the past 24 hours, 1300 trucks crossed the checkpoint, said Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, during a telethon on Thursday, UNN reports.
In the direction of the Yahodyn crossing point, which was unblocked a few days ago, we are already seeing quite a lot of traffic in both directions. Over the past day, 1300 trucks crossed the border in both directions
He recalled that during the blocking of the checkpoint, Polish farmers could pass 60-100 trucks a day towards Ukraine. "There were zero figures from Poland, and in fact, the decrease was ten times," Demchenko said.
About 150 trucks are waiting in Poland to enter Ukraine through the still blocked Rava-Ruska checkpoint .
