Russian troops are striking gas stations in the Chernihiv region almost daily, with 25 hits recorded since the beginning of summer, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported on social media on Monday, writes UNN.

According to him, today there were reports from the heads of the District Military Administrations on the situation in the districts, and representatives of gas station networks were present.
"The task is to maximize the safety of gas stations, personnel, and ensure access to fuel for civilians. There is an understanding of actions in case of critical situations. Air defense forces, gas station operators, local authorities - everyone is working to protect gas stations," Chaus noted.
He thanked the operators who continue to work in the Chernihiv region. "Especially those who remain in the border area. They all respond very quickly and responsibly to threats," the head of the Regional Military Administration stated.
