Russia says it shot down 15 air targets approaching Belgorod, damaging buildings and cars.
An air defense system was activated over the Russian city of Belgorod and its region. Fifteen air targets were shot down as they approached the city, Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in Telegram. According to him, there were no casualties, reports UNN.

He specified that in Belgorod, the attack smashed windows in 37 apartments in 17 apartment buildings. In one of them, shell fragments severely damaged one balcony.
The windows of the Belgorod Arena and gymnasium No. 22 were also damaged, and 12 cars were smashed by debris. In Belgorod district, in the village of Dubove, the roof of a private house was cut in one private household. In the village of Ripne, one car was hit by shrapnel.
