Russia cancels main naval parade for the second consecutive year
Kyiv • UNN
Russia is canceling its main naval parade in Saint Petersburg for the second year in a row. The CCD cites significant losses of the Russian fleet in the war against Ukraine as the reason.

Russia's Main Naval Parade in Saint Petersburg will likely not take place this year. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), UNN informs.

It is noted that the pompous event in the Neva waters is being canceled for the second year in a row, meeting the fate of other large-scale events that Moscow has used for years to demonstrate its fake "military might" to the world.
The Russian Ministry of Defense unofficially tells journalists that there will be no parade because "now is not the time." However, the true reason for such "modesty" is obvious—the Russian fleet, after more than two years of full-scale war with Ukraine, is in a deplorable state. A significant portion of Russian warships is now either resting on the seabed or undergoing lengthy repairs after an "acquaintance" with Ukrainian naval drones and missiles,
They emphasize that special symbolism is added to this situation by the fact that the parade was supposed to take place in Saint Petersburg—the hometown of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, where he previously personally received reports from admirals and delivered pompous speeches.
The systematic cancellation of landmark holidays for the Putin regime testifies to the collapse of the myth of "stability." The Kremlin is no longer able to maintain the illusion that everything is "under control,"
