Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced a ban on diesel fuel exports. The government also postponed refinery repairs and brought additional capacity online.

Russia begins importing gasoline from other countries, the government has imposed a ban on diesel exports. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak at a meeting of the Russian dictator with government officials, reports UNN with reference to Russian media.
"Today we imposed a ban on the export of diesel fuel, and this will allow increasing supplies to the domestic market," Novak said.
He noted that the Russian government postponed a number of refinery repairs to later dates and also utilized additional capacities.
According to Novak, large oil companies have begun to prioritize fuel supplies to regions where independent gas stations are mainly present.
