Yesterday, a video was posted on social media showing five men in military uniforms in Lviv forcing a civilian into a minibus. It turned out that representatives of the military enlistment office detained a Lviv volunteer, Kyrylo Taran; the video was posted by the detainee's wife, Violetta Taran, who said that employees of the Shevchenkivsky TCC and JV in Lviv had used physical violence against her husband.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, expressed outrage at the actions of the TCC in Lviv.

I appeal to the military command authorities to strengthen control and strict compliance with the requirements of the law during mobilization activities, military registration of citizens and their undergoing of the military medical examination. (...) I emphasize once again that forceful detention of conscripts, beatings, threats, intimidation are unacceptable, it should not be like this in our democratic society
