According to the information, military units of President Bashar al-Assad's Army have withdrawn from territories that were captured by rebel groups led by the extremist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.
The rebels also said they had released more than 3,500 prisoners from the military prison they had seized in Homs as part of the action. The rebel leader confirmed that the operation to liberate the city is almost complete.
