Real estate of "Kyiv Radio Plant" sold 23 times cheaper than market value - Prosecutor General revealed details

The property of the "Kyiv Radio Plant" was sold 23 times cheaper than its market value. As reported by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, the alienation of the property was organized and carried out by an arbitration manager, who at that time was acting as the liquidator of the strategic enterprise; he has been notified of suspicion, UNN reports.

According to Kravchenko, more than 10,000 square meters of property belonging to the State Joint Stock Holding Company "Kyiv Radio Plant" were transferred to private ownership for a pittance.

Six real estate objects, including factory management buildings, guard premises, and production buildings, were sold for UAH 2.7 million. At the same time, their market value was over UAH 62 million.

Significant damages caused to the state are confirmed by the conclusions of forensic examinations. In fact, the property was sold 23 times cheaper. In addition, the sale was carried out despite a legislative ban on the privatization of property of space industry enterprises.

The alienation of the property was organized and carried out by an arbitration manager, who at that time was acting as the liquidator of the strategic enterprise. Under the procedural guidance of the Darnytskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, he was notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 365-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of power by a person providing public services, which led to grave consequences. As the Prosecutor General reported, all circumstances of the case are being established and the involvement of other persons in the crime is being checked.

State property cannot be a commodity for someone's personal gain. Selling strategic assets at a 95% discount is not a "mistake" but a crime. There will be accountability for it. We continue to work
