putin signs a decree allowing certain state-owned companies, such as Rosneft, to withhold corporate information from July 1, 2023, in response to "unfriendly actions" by the United States and other countries.

putin has granted a number of companies, including Rosneft and its subsidiaries, the right not to disclose corporate information from July 1, 2023, due to sanctions risks. The corresponding decree No. 903 was published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation, Russian media reported, according to UNN.

According to the decree, the right to partially withhold information was granted to companies "in view of the need to take urgent measures in response to unfriendly and contradictory to international law actions of the United States and foreign states and international organizations that have joined them.

Companies included in the list can independently determine what information to report if disclosure of the information may "lead to the introduction of restrictive measures".

In this case, the company will be obliged to send a notification to the Central Bank containing the information that it did not want to disclose.

In addition to Rosneft and its subsidiaries, the list includes, among others, the oil companies Bashneft and Slavneft, the All-Russian Bank for Regional Development (VBRD) and Peresvit Bank, as well as the organic synthesis products manufacturer Ufaorgsintez.
