The prosecutor general's office has re-seized the property of former Energy Minister Stavitsky and his relatives. The arrest is related to the investigation of the illegal issuance of special permits for the use of Mineral Resources.

In some media there was information about the cancellation of the seizure of the property of the ex-minister of energy and his relatives on the basis of the decision of the Vyshgorod District Court of the Kiev region. We inform you that at the request of prosecutors in other criminal proceedings, this property – money, jewelry, land plots and real estate objects-was seized
It is noted that the re-seizure of the property took place as part of the investigation of criminal proceedings regarding the possible illegal issuance by officials of the state service of Geology and mineral resources of Ukraine, which at that time was headed by the mentioned ex-high official, of special permits for the use of Mineral Resources.
Pre-trial investigation under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office on the fact of abuse of power or official position is carried out by investigators of the state Bureau of Investigation (Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
