In Poltava region, police detained a 55-year-old resident of the Lubny community who is suspected of committing sexual violence against a minor child. Investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the criminal proceedings.
The man was detained and notified of a pre-trial investigation on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 4 of Article 153 (Sexual violence committed against a person under the age of fourteen, regardless of his voluntary consent) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Police investigators have served the suspect with a notice of suspicion and are preparing a motion to impose a custodial measure of restraint on him
