The Deputy Head of the Office of the President believes that the conflict will not end until one of the parties achieves its goals. Russia will not give up the idea of destroying Ukraine, so we must be strong.

A truce in the war between Russia and Ukraine is possible, but only short-term. This was stated in an interview with BIHUS Info by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa, reports UNN.
Details
According to him, the "age-old conflict" between Ukrainians and Russians will not end completely until one of the parties fully fulfills "the tasks it set for itself at the beginning of the war."
Russia has a powerful resource base, they have been pursuing an aggressive imperial policy for hundreds of years. And I don't believe they are ready to give up the obsessive idea of destroying Ukraine as a state, subjugating it to themselves.
He stressed that he personally is not ready to give up the struggle for the state and "for the values we declare."
"Everything will depend on us - on people, on their understanding, on their desire to be strong. Because the war was probably provoked not by Russian power, but, in their opinion, by our weakness. We must be strong, we must be ready to fight. We must grow economically, socially, mentally, culturally and militarily," said the Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
