Details

What is a national treasure for us is another target for the enemy. Russia deliberately destroys our cultural and historical heritage, trying to erase Ukrainian memory

- Dmytro Lubinets stated.

According to available data, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 1,707 cultural heritage sites and 2,503 cultural infrastructure objects have been damaged, and 513 of them have been completely destroyed.

These are acts of terror that must receive a harsh international assessment. I thank the employees who, under shelling, preserve, document, and protect our heritage in museums, archives, and communities... I call on the world to protect Ukrainian historical and cultural heritage. Preserving our roots is our duty to future generations

- emphasizes the Ombudsman.
