A young man who set fire to an SUV ordered through social media was detained in Odesa. The offender filmed the arson to confirm the task, but was never rewarded.
Police in Odesa detained a 20-year-old man on suspicion of setting fire to a car. This was reported by the police of the Odesa region, UNN reports .

It is noted that the other day Odessa police received a message that a Volkswagen Touareg car was burning on Akademika Sakharova Street near high-rise buildings. The son of the owner of the SUV called rescuers, who extinguished the fire.

While searching for" easy earnings", a man responded on a social network to an offer to set fire to someone else's car. At the request of the curator, he doused the corresponding car with a flammable liquid and set it on fire. The attacker recorded his actions on video to confirm the completed " task,
However, the young man did not receive a" reward". He was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional damage to someone else's property committed by arson). The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the right to pay bail.
