The dog owner was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and the dogs were seized and taken to a canine center. Initial investigative actions are ongoing, and all circumstances of the incident are being established.
Under the procedural supervision of the Boryspil District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of causing death by negligence (Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to preliminary data, on June 19 at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the city of Boryspil, two Cane Corso dogs ran out of a private household through a loosely closed gate and entered a neighboring yard, where they attacked a person.
As a result of the attack by the animals, the 79-year-old woman sustained severe bodily injuries. The victim was hospitalized, where she died.
