"Naftogaz" has booked capacity at an LNG terminal in Lithuania for 2033–2044. This will provide access to the global gas market and strengthen energy security.

The National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" has for the first time booked long-term capacity at an LNG terminal in Europe. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Naftogaz Group.
Details
This refers to access to the terminal infrastructure in the port of the Lithuanian city of Klaipėda for the period from 2033 to 2044. This is an important step for Ukraine in diversifying the sources and routes of natural gas supply and strengthening energy security, the statement said.
The allocation procedure was completed by the operator KN Energies, while Naftogaz became one of five participants granted the right to long-term use of the terminal - along with Equinor, Ignitis, Latvenergo, and Gasum.
The CEO of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine," Sergiy Koretskyy, noted that such decisions are of strategic importance for Ukraine's energy security.
They expand access to the global LNG market and strengthen the long-term resilience of gas supplies

Naftogaz Group has reached agreements in principle with a special committee of holders of two series of Eurobonds regarding the restructuring of obligations totaling approximately 1.2 billion euros.
