Over the past day, 170 combat clashes were recorded, more than half of which occurred in the Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky directions. The enemy launched missile and air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units.
More than half of the 170 battles on the front line last day took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report, showing a map of hostilities, writes UNN.
Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In total, 170 combat clashes were recorded during the past day
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using nine missiles and 87 air strikes, dropping 151 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,586 shellings, including 115 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,068 kamikaze drones for destruction.
"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces inflicted damage on six areas of concentration of enemy personnel", - the report says.
Situation by directions
Five attacks by enemy troops were repelled by Ukrainian units in the Kharkiv direction, in the areas of Vovchansk and Dvorichna.
In the Kupyansk direction, five attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions near Zahryzove and in the direction of Petropavlivka and Nova Krouglyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to wedge into our defense near the settlements of Grekivka, Novomykhailivka, Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Torske and in the direction of Grygorivka.
In the Siversky direction, our soldiers stopped three enemy attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnyokamyansky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked five times in the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Orikhovo-Vasylivka and in the direction of Stupochky, Bila Hora and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Ozaryanivka, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 65 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Zorya, Oleksandropil, Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynopil, Bahatyr, Odradne, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil and Vilne Pole.
In the Orikhivsky direction, the occupation forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces four times in the areas of the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove and in the direction of Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovsky direction, the invaders went to the positions of the Defense Forces once, but unsuccessfully, the enemy was stopped.
In the Hulyaypilsky direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the enemy in the Kursk direction. Last day, the enemy launched 16 air strikes, dropping 29 guided aerial bombs, carried out 228 shellings, eight of them from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 23 assault actions of the invaders", - the report says.
