More than 400 thousand Ukrainian men are officially employed in Poland

There are 779.3 thousand Ukrainians officially employed in Poland, including 406.5 thousand men and 372.7 thousand women. Most Ukrainians are concentrated in the Mazovian Voivodeship - 188.1 thousand people.
Currently, 779.3 thousand people from Ukraine are officially employed in Poland, including more than 400 thousand men. Most Ukrainians work in the Mazovian Voivodeship. This is reported by Wprost, according to UNN.
“More than three quarters of the million insured foreigners are Ukrainian citizens. As of the end of September this year, 779.3 thousand people from Ukraine were registered in the insurance system. Of the almost 780 thousand Ukrainians working in Poland, 406.5 thousand are men and 372.7 are women,” the publication writes.
It is noted that at the beginning of the year there were 755 thousand Ukrainians in Poland, and in 2022 - 746 thousand. Before the war in Ukraine began, just over half a million Ukrainians worked in Poland.
Most Ukrainians work in the Mazovian Voivodeship (188.1 thousand). People aged 30 to 44 are the most likely to work in Poland.

The first group of volunteers of the Ukrainian Legion signed contracts in Lublin and began 35 days of basic training. The recruitment center received about 700 applications from Ukrainians from different European countries.
