Missile attacks on the locations of the Defense Forces in Kherson were prepared: Russian informants detained

In Kherson, the SBU detained Russian informants who were preparing missile attacks on Ukrainian forces.
Enemy informants who were preparing a series of enemy missile attacks on the units of the Security Service and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were detained in Kherson. UNN reports this with reference to the SBU press service.
The SBU prevented new attempts by Russia to adjust missile and drone strikes on the locations of the Defense Forces in Kherson. As a result of a special operation in the regional center, a Russian group of informers was detained, preparing a new series of air attacks on the city
Reportedly, the enemy was targeting the places of temporary basing of Ukrainian defenders. First of all, the occupiers hoped to hit the SBU and the Armed Forces units.
According to the investigation, the enemy group included four employees of local transportation companies. Two of the defendants were drivers of shuttle buses, and during the transportation of passengers, they tracked the movement and arrival points of military equipment.
Two more were fleet managers. In their free time, they would go around the city to conduct additional reconnaissance of the "right" objects.
The attackers also reportedly had confidential conversations with gas station and store staff to learn about enemy "arrivals" and their consequences.
The aggressor's accomplices passed all the information collected to the group's leader, who then "reported" to the Russian military intelligence (known as the GRU). She communicated with the occupiers remotely through a "liaison" from the left bank of Kherson region.
The invaders planned to use the intelligence information to prepare new and adjust repeated attacks on the city.
However, law enforcement officers thwarted the invaders' plans. At the same time, measures were reportedly taken to protect the personnel and military equipment of the Defense Forces in the regional center.
During the searches of the informants' residences, Kremlin symbols, Russian Guard chevrons, and other items were found.
SBU investigators have now served the four detainees a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face up to 8 years in prison.
