Minister of Sports Bidnyi's salary increased by 350,000 UAH – declaration

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Matviy Bidnyi, earned slightly more than UAH 1.4 million in 2024, which is almost UAH 350,000 more than when he was the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports. UNN learned about this from Bidnyi's electronic declaration for 2024.

According to the declaration, Bidnyi received UAH 1,443,168 in salary as a minister. Bidnyi also has $15,000 in cash. The minister declared an apartment of 215.1 sq.m., in which he has the right to free residence, and it belongs to his wife.

Bidnyi's wife owns a land plot of 1228 sq.m. in the temporarily occupied Crimea in the village of Gurzuf (acquired in 2005) and a residential building also in Gurzuf. His wife also rents an apartment in Slovakia. In addition, she owns the company Rotors Tech - specializing in the production of rotor equipment and compressor equipment, which is registered in Slovakia, and also has its representative office in China.

Last year, his wife earned UAH 646,695, keeps UAH 3.1 million in cash and owns a VOLVO Polestar 2 car of 2020, purchased in 2023 for UAH 1,702.8 thousand.

In the declaration for 2024, when Bidnyi was the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, he declared UAH 1 million 85 thousand 899 of salary, which is UAH 357 thousand 269 less than this year.
