Oleksandr Syrskyi officially handed over the powers of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi. He wished the new leadership wise decisions and Ukraine's progress toward peace.

Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that he officially handed over the powers of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi and wished that every decision brings Ukraine closer to peace, reports UNN.
The handover ceremony took place. Acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhenii Khmara presented the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, and the new Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Skybyuk, to the leadership of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the ceremony, he officially handed over the powers of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi
He added that a new stage lies ahead and wished the new military leadership strength, endurance, wise decisions, unity with the army, and victories.
