Massive Russian drone attack in Kharkiv: about 20 strikes, more injured

On the night of April 8, the Russian army massively attacked Kharkiv with drones. As a result of the shelling, 4 people are known to have been injured, and civilian enterprises and residential buildings in different parts of the city were damaged.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, on April 8, between 21:00 and 23:00, the Russian army carried out a large-scale drone attack on Kharkiv. The enemy carried out about 20 strikes on the city, the prosecutor's office noted and showed the consequences.
Most of the hits were recorded in the Osnovyanskyi district. "A number of civilian enterprises were damaged. Fires broke out. As for the direction of activity, these are mostly enterprises for the production of household goods, paints and varnishes, etc. A 64-year-old security guard was injured. Also, a 46-year-old woman suffered an acute reaction to stress," the prosecutor's office said.
In the Industrialnyi district, a warehouse building was on fire due to a UAV attack.
Residential buildings in the Kyivskyi district of the city were also damaged.
It was preliminarily established that the Russian troops used Geran-2 UAVs to strike Kharkiv.
According to data from the head of the RMA, Oleh Syniehubov, four people were reported injured in Kharkiv: at 21:07 in the Kyivskyi district, as a result of the shelling by a "Shahed"-type UAV, an abandoned building on an area of 10 square meters was on fire, 1 person was injured; at 23:01 in the Osnovyanskyi district, as a result of the shelling by a "Shahed"-type UAV, production equipment in 3 buildings was damaged, 1 person was injured; at 00:05 in the Osnovyanskyi district, as a result of the shelling by a "Shahed"-type UAV, two rooms with an area of 120 and 50 square meters were on fire, 2 people were injured.
