Massive Russian attack on Ukraine: at least 12 people killed, dozens wounded - Interior Ministry

The massive strikes resulted in at least 12 deaths and numerous injuries.

The enemy massively shelled Ukraine this morning, striking six regions. Preliminarily, 12 people were killed and dozens more were wounded, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said, according to UNN.

According to Klymenko, Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions came under enemy attack. 

Kyiv: Sviatoshynskyi, Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi districts came under fire. Civilian infrastructure, cars, and warehouses were damaged. Two people were killed and 18 injured.

Lviv region: rocket attacks on the city of Lviv. The explosion damaged an apartment building and infrastructure. one  person was killed, 9 wounded.

Dnipropetrovs'k region: the enemy hit a shopping center. 5 people were killed and 15 injured. A maternity hospital was also hit. SES units rescued 4 patients. 

Odesa region: a three-story building was hit, with people possibly trapped under the rubble. At least two more buildings were damaged in Odesa. Rescuers rescued 23 people from a 17-story residential building. In total, 2 people were killed and 15 injured. 

Kharkiv region: the enemy started shelling at dawn. One person was killed, nine people were wounded, medics are providing assistance on the spot. 

Zaporizhzhya region: occupants launch rocket attacks on infrastructure facilities  Zaporizhzhya. one person killed, 10 wounded.

At this moment, rescuers, police officers, and the National Guard are engaged in the aftermath of the strikes across Ukraine - extinguishing fires, rescuing victims, and supporting them. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service and the police are working.
