Russia attacked Ukraine with 262 drones; air defense forces shot down or suppressed 246 enemy targets. 10 hits were recorded across nine locations, the attack is ongoing.

Russia struck Ukraine overnight with 262 drones, 246 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Monday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of May 25 (from 17:30 on May 24), the enemy attacked with 262 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Hvardiiske – TOT of the AR of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 246 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 10 strike UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 7 locations
The attack is ongoing; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
