Maldera has called up goalkeeper Heorhiy Yermakov from Maccabi Haifa to the national team for the first time. The newcomer will prepare for the matches against the national teams of Poland and Denmark.
The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Andrea Maldera, has called up goalkeeper Heorhiy Yermakov to the squad. This is the debut call-up for the Ukrainian goalkeeper, reports the UAF, according to UNN.

Heorhiy Yermakov is a product of Donetsk "Shakhtar," for which he did not play a single match. In 2022, he moved to "Oleksandriya" as a free agent. In 2024, he was sold to the Israeli club "Maccabi Haifa," but returned to "Oleksandriya" on loan, where he won the silver medal of the 2024/2025 season championship.
In the current season for "Maccabi," he has played 37 matches in all competitions, conceding 45 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets.

Two newcomers will join the national team: defender Oleksandr Romanchuk and midfielder Hennadiy Synchuk.
