According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, in preparation for the elections, the Kremlin plans to increase the forced issuance of Russian passports in the occupied territories of Ukraine
The Kremlin is preparing for "Putin's election" - it has ordered to strengthen the forced Russian passportization in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and bring its level to at least 85%, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

In November, the Kremlin, according to the GUR, held a closed meeting with the heads of Russian regions and Moscow's occupation leaders in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which was chaired by Putin's deputy chief of staff, Sergei Kiriyenko.
"He announced the directives as part of the intensification of preparations for the so-called election process," the GUR reported.
As noted, it was ordered to allocate social assistance to voters from local budgets, to intensify propaganda about the allegedly "positive" trends in the Russian economy, the "stability" of the ruble and the "improvement" of people's living standards.
The leaders of the Russian occupation administrations also received a task to bring the level of forced passportization in the TOT of Ukraine to at least 85%,
