Today, together with the ministers, [I] presented the draft Government Action Program at a meeting of the Coalition Council. This is a comprehensive document with defined priorities and clear tasks that the Government will follow in its work. The key tasks are strengthening the defense and resilience of the state, bolstering support for people and businesses, and accelerating European integration
According to the prime minister, the principles of the Government’s work are efficiency, speed in decision-making, and responsibility for results. The Government as a whole and each minister have specific tasks and will be accountable for their implementation to Parliament and society.
During the preparation of the document, lawmakers’ proposals were considered. Now we will take into account the comments voiced at the Coalition Council meeting and finalize the document. Then we will approve it at a Government meeting and submit it for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada. The Government and Parliament must act together for the sake of the country’s resilience and the strengthening of our positions in all areas. I thank the committee chairs and lawmakers for constructive dialogue, an honest exchange of views, and useful proposals. The challenges facing the country are great, so our response must also be specific. We are working together for a common result
