Borrell emphasized that "these barbaric attacks only strengthen the EU's determination to increase its support for Ukraine." He emphasized that the EU and its member states "will do more and faster" to support Ukraine. According to Borrell, the bonuses will be provided through the recently agreed €5 billion Ukraine Assistance Fund for this year under the European Peace Facility.
The High Representative also reaffirmed the EU's support for Ukraine's Peace Formula , the only comprehensive framework for a just peace in accordance with the UN Charter, and for a Peace Summit with broad international participation.
He invited Kuleba to attend the next Foreign Affairs Council on April 22 in Luxembourg with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to discuss Ukraine's needs and better coordinate support from the EU and its member states.
The High Representative also invited Ukraine to take part in the EU-Ukraine Defense Industry Forum to be held on May 6 in Brussels.
