Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recalled that Tehran has repeatedly denied the possibility of direct discussions with the American side, but expressed its readiness for dialogue through a third party. According to him, Oman can act as a mediator in such a process.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bakai, even before Trump's statements, expressed disappointment with the lack of US reaction to Iran's initiative on indirect negotiations, calling this proposal "generous."
