Today, Iran will hold a second round of presidential elections in which reformist Massoud Peseshkian and ultra-conservative Saeed Jalili will compete. After the first round of elections, Pezeshkian won 42% of the vote, while Jalili received 38.6%. Voter turnout in the first round was about 40%, the lowest since 1979.
