Two vessels belonging to Abu Dhabi's national oil company were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz; there were no casualties. The UAE accused Iran of piracy, which threatens regional stability.
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) said that two of its vessels were attacked while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday evening. Reuters reports, according to UNN.

It is noted that no casualties were reported, while the United Arab Emirates accused Iran of carrying out the attack.
The attack was the second similar incident involving ADNOC vessels in less than a week. On Saturday, the UAE condemned what they said was an Iranian attack on a vessel linked to the state-owned oil company while it was passing through the strait
It is reported that ADNOC said the situation had been brought under control. At the same time, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had committed "acts of piracy" by attacking commercial shipping and using the strait as a tool of economic pressure and blackmail, posing a direct threat to regional stability and global energy security.
