In Zakarpattia, a lawyer and the director of a private college branch will be tried, suspected of organizing the fictitious employment of a military conscript for $25,000 to obtain a deferment from mobilization. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, writes UNN.
Prosecutors of the Zakarpattia Regional Prosecutor's Office sent to court an indictment against a lawyer and the director of a regional branch of a private college. They are accused of organizing the fictitious employment of a military conscript to obtain a deferment
According to the investigation, for $25,000, the man was officially appointed to a managerial position at the college. In reality, he was not supposed to work - it was enough to occasionally appear at the educational institution to avoid raising suspicion.
In addition, the "employee" had to open a bank card for salary accrual and hand it over to the scheme's organizers, as well as monthly pay taxes and the unified social contribution from the fictitious salary at his own expense. That is, after paying $25,000, he also financed the existence of his own "employment."
Both are accused of receiving an illegal benefit by an official of a private legal entity, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (Part 4 of Article 368-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They have been assigned preventive measures - custody with an alternative of bail of about UAH 1.1 million each.
