In the Carpathians, the third shift of "Royal Vacation" by Pavlo Zhurylo and Betking Foundation is ongoing

The third shift of the "Royal Vacation" project, which the Betking Foundation together with the founder of the foundation Pavlo Zhurylo implements for children from different regions of Ukraine, is ongoing in the Carpathians. The initiative combines summer recreation, sports training, team interaction and psychological recovery.

This summer, 300 children will become participants of the project. Among them are pupils of football academies, children of military personnel, internally displaced families, as well as children who lost their parents as a result of the war.

The project takes place in several shifts. The first one united the pupils of FC "Oleksandriya", the second — participants from FC "Lviv" and the football academy "Ternopil". Currently, the third shift is ongoing with the participation of children from Kharkiv's "Metalist" — a city that suffers from Russian shelling every day.

The program includes sports training, hiking in the mountains, team activities, creative workshops, quests, work with psychologists within the framework of the "I Can!" program and creating their own dream maps. Its goal is to combine summer recreation with psychological recovery, social adaptation and the development of team skills.

10-year-old Renat from Oleksandriya shared his impressions of his first trip to the Carpathians: "I saw such big mountains for the first time! When we climbed to the top, I stood and looked — it took my breath away. I definitely reached the clouds! In the camp, I quickly made friends with the guys, I don't even remember the last time I laughed so loudly."

14-year-old Anatoliy from Ternopil also spoke about his experience of participating in the project: "When I arrived at the camp, I hardly knew anyone and was a little worried. But after a few days, we became a real team. Here I found new friends and realized that I can do more than I thought before."

The founder of the Betking Foundation, Pavlo Zhurylo, emphasizes that the main idea of the project is to create an environment in which children can recover, develop and discover their own potential.

"We wanted 'Royal Vacation' to be not just a respite from the war, but a space for recovery, development and new opportunities. For us, it is important who a child can become. Every child has great potential, and our task is to create an environment where it is revealed through sports, friendship, team support and new experiences. We see how in just a few days children change: they become more open, more confident, begin to dream more boldly and believe more in their own strength. That is exactly why we organized 'Royal Vacation' — a place where strength for big dreams is restored," said Pavlo Zhurylo.

Ukrainian athletes also join the program. In particular, the legend of Kyiv's "Dynamo" and the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, in a video message called on children to dream boldly, believe in their own strength and value the support of the team.

"Over the years in football, I understood one important thing: great victories begin not only with hard work. They begin with faith in yourself. Each of us has dreams. They are what help us move forward, even when the path is difficult. Remember: a person's strength is not only in overcoming difficulties. True strength is not losing faith in yourself and your future. Enjoy this summer, value friendship, dream boldly and remember: each of you deserves great opportunities," said Oleksandr Shovkovskyi.

"Royal Vacation" is part of the long-term strategy of the Betking Foundation, which is part of the King Group, which also includes the projects "Royal Journey", "Day with the Kings Team" and "Royal Cup". The initiatives are aimed at the systematic development of youth through football, team interaction and recovery.
