In support of hydropower: The EIB is considering a loan of approximately EUR 100 million to Ukraine

Ukraine has signed a memorandum with the European Investment Bank to restore hydropower, which has lost about 2,500 MW of capacity due to Russia's actions.
Today, during a meeting with European Investment Bank President Nadia Calvino, a memorandum was signed between the bank and Ukrhydroenergo. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.

According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine's hydropower industry lost about 2.5 thousand MW of capacity due to the actions of Russian terrorists. Thanks to the efforts of the Government and partners, more than 1.5 thousand MW have already been restored. The restoration is ongoing and will accelerate.
