In Odesa's Prymorskyi district, a car exploded, resulting in injuries to two people. The SBU is investigating the case as a terrorist act. This was reported on Sunday, May 24, by the Odesa Oblast Police and the SBU press service, according to UNN.

According to the police, a report of a "Volkswagen" car explosion on Universytetska Street was received via the 102 emergency line late in the evening on May 23.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement, two people who were inside the vehicle were injured as a result of the explosion. They are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
On May 24, the SBU department announced that the Security Service qualifies the car explosion in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa as a terrorist act and has already opened the relevant criminal proceedings under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act).
The SBU, together with the National Police, are conducting comprehensive measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident and identify the persons involved in its commission.
