As a result of the missile strike on Merefa, six people were killed, and the number of wounded has risen to 36. The community has declared a three-day period of mourning for the victims.

The number of casualties resulting from the Russian missile strike on Merefa in the Kharkiv region continues to rise, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported. The Merefa community announced a three-day period of mourning for the victims, UNN reports.
Six people have died. The number of injured has risen to 36 people. Among them is a 2-year-old boy who sustained cuts from glass. Medics are providing him with the necessary assistance,
The Merefa community announced that "from May 5 to May 7, Days of Mourning have been declared in the Merefa community to honor the memory of the people who died as a result of the missile strike on May 4, and to express sincere condolences to their families and loved ones." The corresponding order was signed by Mayor Veniamin Sitov.
As a sign of grief, the State Flag of Ukraine with a mourning ribbon will be flown at half-mast on the buildings and structures of local government bodies, as well as at enterprises, institutions, and organizations regardless of ownership. During this period, any entertainment or concert events are prohibited throughout the community, and the playing of entertainment music in retail and catering establishments is forbidden.
