The driver of trolleybus No. 24 noticed a suspicious object on the roadway and evacuated passengers. The police are investigating the circumstances, no one was injured.

In Lviv, a trolleybus driver on a route discovered a grenade in front of the vehicle; passengers were evacuated, and explosives technicians removed the grenade from the road. It is suspected to be a training grenade, the city mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported on social networks on Friday, UNN writes.
A grenade was found on Zelena Street in Lviv. The suspicious object on the roadway was noticed in time by the driver of trolleybus No. 24. He stopped the vehicle in front of the dangerous object and promptly evacuated the passengers.
Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene. Investigators are determining the circumstances of how the ammunition ended up in the middle of the road.
"Traffic on this section is not blocked. The police are regulating and letting cars pass. Fortunately, no one was injured," Sadovyi stated.
Currently, according to him, explosives technicians have removed the object from the roadway. "According to preliminary information, it could be a training grenade or a grenade without an explosive charge. Experts are now determining exactly what this object is and its characteristics," he noted.
