In Kyiv, a 42-year-old man is suspected of sexually abusing his own 3-year-old daughter, whom he forced to participate in the production of child pornography. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, reports UNN.

According to the investigation, in the spring of 2024, the man began committing lewd acts against his daughter, who was only three years old at the time.

He undressed in front of the child, offered her to touch his genitals, and called it a "game." The father photographed his actions. Law enforcement officers discovered these photographs during a search. They also found video files containing child pornography downloaded from the Internet

Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors from the Obolon District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, the 42-year-old man was notified of suspicion of sexually abusing his own minor daughter and forcing her to participate in the production of child pornography. His actions were classified as the sexual abuse of a minor committed by a family member, as well as the production of child pornography and the coercion of a minor child to participate in the creation of such materials (Part 2 of Article 156, Parts 1 and 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The prosecutors asked the court to remand the suspect in custody. However, the court imposed bail of UAH 332,000 as a preventive measure. The prosecutor’s office is appealing the decision and insists that the man be held in custody.
